Superb Summit listed on the Hong Kong Exchange in 2001. In November 2014, it was attacked by short-seller Muddy Waters which alleged that it did not own its main operating subsidiary. Trading in the company's shares were suspended pending a rebuttal which never actually came. In December 2015, Hong Kong's securities regulator took the unusual step of intervening by imposing an indefinite trading halt. In 2019, the company's CEO resigned and the stock was delisted in 2020.
