Ping An Healthcare is a Chinese provider of health care software solutions. The company listed on the Hong Kong Exchange in September 2018. In April 2019, it was attacked in an anonymous report alleging that it had exaggerated the number of qualified doctors in its team and the quality of artificial intelligence technology used to diagnose patients. The report also claimed that information on Ping An Healthcare’s gross merchandise value and gross revenues had been significantly inflated. Despite the loss of two directors towards the end of the year, PwC signed off on the FY19 financials. As such, the allegations remain unproven.
