Chinese producer of fluorine and silicone materials Dongyue Group listed on the Hong Kong Exchange in 2007. In February 2016, the company announced that an internal audit had uncovered evidence that RMB978m (US$150m) had been misappropriated by the financial controller. Most of the funds had been used as security for loans to nine companies which had subsequently defaulted. There were no allegations of profit manipulation.
