Australian Graphite miner Syrah Resources listed in 2007. In December 2016, it was attacked by short-seller Viceroy Research which alleged that it was grossly over-valued. The company and its brokers had reportedly incorporated overly optimistic assumptions about its mines thereby inflating the company's value. Syrah failed to respond to the report which had little impact on its share price. The allegations remain unproven.
